Abstract

This paper reviews the literature on awareness of doping among athletes. The findings of previous studies are inconsistent, with some studies finding that athletes have a good understanding of doping, while others find that they have little or no awareness. The paper discusses the factors that may contribute to these different findings, such as the type of sport, the level of competition, and the culture of doping in the sport. The paper concludes by calling for more research on awareness of doping among athletes, in order to develop effective strategies to prevent doping
