Abstract

This paper discusses the role of information technology in cultivating autonomous learning ability in college English teaching. The paper argues that information technology can provide students with abundant learning resources, facilitate communication and collaboration, and track and assess learning progress. The paper also provides some suggestions for how to use information technology to cultivate autonomous learning ability in college English teaching.
