Abstract

This paper examines the challenges faced by educators in managing the socio-emotional and behavioral needs of students with adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in large classrooms. The paper argues that trauma-informed education (TIE) is a promising approach to addressing these challenges. TIE is a holistic approach to education that recognizes the impact of trauma on learning and behavior. It provides educators with the skills and knowledge they need to create safe and supportive learning environments for all students
