ROOTS OF REVENUE: EXPLORING THE INTEGRATION OF AGRO-FORESTRY MODELS AND SMALL RUMINANT PRODUCTION FOR FARMER EARNINGS MAXIMIZATION

A recent study investigated the potential of doubling farmers' income by integrating various agro-forestry models with small ruminant production. Three agro-forestry model types were established: Silvipature (Type I), Hortipasture (Type II), and Hortisilvipasture (Type III), each covering an acre of land in the farmers' fields. The study analyzed the economics of these models under irrigated conditions, including establishment costs, expected income from small ruminant integration, and additional income from horticultural plants. Results indicated that the optimal utilization of available land through horti-pasture and horti-silvi-pasture, combined with sheep production, provided additional income for farmers.

The balance between free radicals and antioxidants in the body is critical for maintaining overall health. To help address oxidative stress, researchers have been exploring natural, non-toxic compounds with antioxidant potential, such as those found in traditional Indian medicine. One such plant, Andrographis paniculata, is the focus of this study, which seeks to analyze its phytochemical composition and assess its in vitro antioxidant capabilities. Compensation Chronicles: Uncovering the Determinants and Significance of Factors Affecting Accounting Staff's Pay"

Given the high level of public sensitivity and negative opinions surrounding salaries, it has become crucial for researchers to uncover the determinants and significance of factors affecting salary levels. This study, in particular, focuses on the factors influencing the compensation of accounting staff and analyses the ramifications of each determinant on salary levels. By undertaking a detailed literature review and expert questionnaire survey, this study synthesizes the factors and weights that affect accountants' compensation. The results highlight the presence of six first-level factors and 23 second-level sub-factors that contribute to the variations in the salaries of accounting staff.
