Abstract

This paper examines the role of culture in the oppression of women. The paper argues that culture can be used as a tool to marginalize and oppress women, and that this is often done through the use of language and symbolism.

The paper begins by defining the term "culture" and discussing its relationship to power. It then discusses the ways in which culture can be used to oppress women, such as through the use of stereotypes, myths, and symbols.

The paper concludes by arguing that it is important to challenge the ways in which culture is used to oppress women, and that this can be done through education, activism, and social change.
