Abstract

In this paper, we propose a wellhead unloading protection system for a multi-well pumping unit with the functions of multi-pumping, energy efficiency, andintelligent control, and address the painful issue of having to shut down the entire well group for maintenance when the single well fails or during wellhead maintenance operations. An in-depth theoretical design was carried out and the structure was simulated and analysed using finite element software. The finite element analysis results show that the LPS auxiliary unloading device has a reasonable structure and high reliability, and can achieve the unloading protection function well, which provides a valuable reference for further optimization of the structure.
